Aluminium Checker plate is a lightweight metal with raised diamond or line patterns on one side and a smooth surface on the other. It is commonly made through hot rolling, but some manufacturers create a raised and pressed diamond design. The textured surface provides slip resistance, making it ideal for industrial stairs, catwalks, walkways, and ramps. It is also used in ambulances, firetruck footplates, truck beds, and trailer floors. Moreover, highly polished aluminum variants can be used for decorative purposes.
